As a Labor Advocate and working father I understand the struggles faced by working families. We in the 2nd are diverse mix of working class residents. Some commuting daily into Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia. Some working farms or our working forests.

Washington has the second most regressive tax structure in the United States, surpassed only by Florida. To ensure stable and predictable revenue, our state legislature must engage in an open and thorough discussion on comprehensive, top-to-bottom tax reform. As a member of the House of Representatives, I am committed to creating a fairer and more robust tax structure that empowers our government to fulfill its duty to our citizens.
